AMIE (Civil)

Colonel Abhay Rajvanshi is a veteran of Indian Army. He is working as Registrar and Head of Administration at AIE since 10 Jan 2022. After completion of graduation in civil engineer, he joined Army in Jan 1988 as a technical graduate. Having served for more than 32 years in Army, he superannuated in May 2019. He is also an alumni of IIM, Shillong having done Diploma in SERM. As a multifunctional specialist, his professional journey across his entire defence career has been an inspirational one with achievements in handling critical projects under challenging circumstances and in difficult geographic terrains.

He is extensively experienced in handling functions of HR & general administration. Besides combat engineering, he has tenanted various appointments related to civil engineering, aviation security, instructor in military training centre and military survey. His career spread across various organisations like Border Roads Organisation (MoST), Assam Riffles (MoHA), Airports Authority of India (MoCA), Military Survey, Military Engineering Services. He has served in various challenging geographic locations from deserts of Rajasthan to Manipur, Leh, and J&K to Andamans.

He has successfully coordinated and completed some complex and high-level projects involving collaboration with US-based agencies, US trade development authority, OEMs, Israeli trainer team, and SMEs from PSUs. The projects were completed within stipulated timeline and resources.

He is best known for his excellent leadership and negotiation skills, strong problem-solving, decision-making skills. He also possesses sharp technical acumen and strong engineering expertise and demonstrated his excellence in various projects. He has keen interest for staying abreast with contemporary technological innovations and how best it can be leveraged for better output in day-to-day functioning.
