International Conference

An international conference is a convergence of experts, scholars, and professionals from around the world, aimed at exchanging knowledge, presenting research findings, and exploring advancements in various fields. These gatherings serve as a platform for global collaboration, fostering discussions that span from scientific and technological innovations to social, economic, and educational developments. The Army Institute of Education (AIE) has successfully hosted three international conferences, the latest being "Reinventing and Reimagining Post-Pandemic Society: In Perspective of Education, Economy & Health" on February 21, 2023. This event brought together visionaries from education, economics, and health sectors to address emerging global needs and challenges through a pragmatic approach. These conferences highlight the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in pushing the boundaries of knowledge and addressing global challenges.

National Seminar

Since 2014, the Army Institute of Education (AIE) has been a hub for knowledge dissemination through its annual National Seminars. These seminars provide a dynamic platform for academics, practitioners, and researchers to discuss and share insights on themes of national and global significance. Each year, AIE selects a crucial theme within the educational landscape, ranging from innovative teaching methodologies and technology integration to inclusive education and sustainable practices. These seminars are characterized by rigorous academic discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration. The success of these events underscores AIE's commitment to fostering continuous learning, critical thinking, and innovation in educational practices.

Educational Conclave

On November 30, 2022, the Army Institute of Education (AIE), in collaboration with the Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF) and the Social Development and Research Foundation (SDRF), organized a one-day Education Conclave themed "Innovative Pedagogical Practices in Light of NEP 2020." This event brought together education experts, scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss the transformative implications of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The conclave focused on innovative teaching methodologies, assessment practices, and the integration of technology in education, emphasizing experiential learning and holistic development. This event reaffirmed AIE's commitment to educational innovation and excellence.

Student Faculty Development Programme (SFDP)

From May 1 to May 7, 2023, the Army Institute of Education's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Kasturba Institute of Psychology & Behavioural Medicine (KIPBM) jointly organized a week-long Student and Faculty Development Program (SFDP) titled "Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing for Happy Living Among Teaching Learning Fraternity." This program addressed the critical need for mental health and emotional well-being within the educational community. It featured expert-led sessions on stress management, emotional intelligence, and self-care strategies, promoting a culture of holistic well-being. This initiative highlights AIE's commitment to the overall welfare and happiness of its teaching and learning community.

Faculty Development Programme (FDP)

The Army Institute of Education (AIE) is dedicated to empowering educators through its Faculty Development Programs (FDPs). These programs are designed to equip faculty with innovative pedagogical techniques, technology integration skills, and effective curriculum development strategies. AIE has organized various FDPs, including a one-week program on "Education and Resilience during COVID-19 & beyond" in 2020 and another on "Development of MOOCs: Concept & Tools" in collaboration with PMMMNMTT, TLC, of Ramanujan College, DU in 2022. These programs foster collaboration, critical thinking, and the exchange of best practices among educators, enhancing their professional growth and inspiring the next generation of learners.
